Stage dans un ecolodge à Odeceixe (sud du Portugal). Construction d'une 2m40, stage réalisé en anglais [Terminé]

Du lundi 16 au vendredi 20 avril 2018, à Montes de Baixo

During five days we will build together a wind turbine from scratch 700 Watts 2,4 m Diameter. We will have different building workshops where everyone is invited to learn and help. 

1.Wood workshop
-hand curving the blades of the rotor using drawknives and spokeshaves, planes and chisels.
2. Metal workshop 
-fabricating the steel frame to support the generator, blades, and tail, with the use of welding, grinding and drilling techniques. 
3. Generator Construction Workshop 
-winding coils, placing magnets, preparing plywood molds and casting the stator coils and rotor magnet disks into the resin. 

-No previous experienced required, basic wood and metal skills will be taught during the course.

Beside work time and relax time there will be space in the common area for different topics:
-Design and science behind this wind turbine.
-How to plan your own wind project
-Open Source Movement
-Permaculture principles
